- K9 Dog training are a new training group that
opened in June 2003.
- They train at Skipton on Swale (on the A61
between Ripon & Thirsk) on Monday Wednesday & Thursday Evenings
in summer, and Saturday & Sunday mornings in winter.
- Their initial aim was to give dog owners a
chance to have a go at dog agility in an area where there has
previously been no such training facilities.
- They welcome dog owners who want to enter
competitions with their dog.
- They also welcome dog owners who just want to
have some quality time each week with their dog.
- Most Breeds of dog are suitable for agility
so you don't have to have a Border Collie to train.
- Small groups (maximum of 8 dogs per group)
mean less distractions and better training.
- Depending on the breed of dog training may
start from 12 months.
- K9 have a happy training atmosphere due to
using modern positive reinforcement methods of training.
- K9 recommend that puppies attend pet dog
training classes for that all important socialisation from when
the pup has had his second injection.
- You are welcome watch K9 train at any time
time (please contact them first).
- There is a waiting list so if you want to
train with K9 contact them to register on the waiting list ASAP.
